Mark your calendar for a public awareness campaign designed to help consumers better manage their personal finances. Presented in cooperation with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and the American Library Association.
Kathleen Seminatore, Investigator, Summit County Office of Consumer Affairs, will discuss how to improve your credit score, lower your bills, set up a monthly budget, apply for PIPP and HEAP, avoid scams, and much more.

Angela Lowery, Manager of the Akron Financial Empowerment Center, will explain FREE one-on-one financial coaching services focused on credit score improvement, debt reduction, increased saving and asset building, and banking access. The Financial Empowerment Center is a program of the City of Akron in partnership with United Way of Summit County.
